One of the things I don’t look forward to while bagging a truck is mounting the rear bags. When you’re following the Air Ride Guide, you need to mount your bags directly to the frame. In order to do this, you need to drill three holes at a slight angle to account for the frame. Two holes are for the bolts and one large hole is for the air fitting. The hardest part is knowing where to drill the holes to keep it center so the bag isn’t off center from the trailing arm.
The Rear Bag Template takes all the guess work out of it and provides you with accurate drill locations and sizes. It’s as easy as three steps.
1. Mount your bag to the trailing arm and jack the rear end until bag touches frame. Mark your front bag location.
2. Cut out the Rear Bag Template and align the front section with the front mark you just made, then tape to the frame.
3. Drill the three holes on each side of the truck and DONE!
This kit is designed for Airmaxxx 2500 bags. If you’re using 2600 bags in the rear then this template will not work.
